Scott Kelby’s 3rd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk – July 24, 2010 is history now.
We made it: 6 amazing photo addicts, 3 hours walking, no rain (not seriously), amazing line-up of events along the walk. Now its time to go back home and develop your pictures.
Select the best of them and go on, uploading to share them and submit the best one to the Photo Walk contest. Submissions will open on Sunday, July 25 and close July 31. You just need to login at WorldwidePhotoWalk.com and you’ll see a section called “Upload Your Photo” below the Meeting Location & Time (not before July 25, but it’ll show up on Sunday).
Details of the prizes of that contest can be found in Scott’s Prizes page (Top prize is awarded by Scott to the single best overall photo taken that day, from all the Photo Walk locations around the world). You might want to see the photos and winners from 2009. Feel free and browse the best photos here.
While you can only submit one image for Scott Kelby’s Contest, you can upload your images to Flickr and add up to five per day to the Official Flickr Group for the Worldwide Photo Walk and another five specificly for the Berlin Walk here.
Don’t forget to tag your uploads with “WWPW“, “WWPW3” and “WorldwidePhotoWalk2010“. I would also suggest to go with “Berlin” “Photowalk” and “Metroblinks” as tags, to make your uploads visible beside other related photos.
However, you also might want to discuss and get some help in the selcetion process by other walkers from Metroblinks, feel free to upload images to our side and discuss them within a closed audience, before you start to share them in public. Metroblinks has also a voting system, where we select the best ones an d feature them at our homepage.
Scott Kelby’s Annual Worldwide Photo Walk is totally a social event, and that’s why makes it so much fun.
Some of us here in Berlin had never done a Photo Walk before, but everybody had so much fun, they all wanted to continue over the year and are looking forward to the next WWPW in 2011. Photo Walks became infectious to us, so we will continue with Metroblinks during the year and getting more creative people together, who all have the love of photography in common.

just comment here…
or even better in the WWPW galleries at Flickr…
