… After Photo Walk # 18 has once again proven to be very productive tour, more dates here, of course, avoiding all the Christmas markets. Also, I had intended to inform us PhotoWalkers more timely about scheduled appointments.

See, our finest Walks for November this year (Imagine, its almost Christmas. In December, we will have just another twilight and darkness event … for the light detectors amongst us).

That’s it then, in 2010. However 21 Photo Walks around the year is not as bad. By the way, watch out for an article on Photo Walk in Foto Praxis, you might want to find yourself featured as a photowalker. The author is Ronald Puhle who regularly attended the MetroBlinks walks here in Berlin. The article can be read in Foto Praxis, edition 10/06 November and December. Happy reading!

Coming back to our next walk. Sunday has turned out as the lowest common denominator, and the early afternoon in terms of light seems not bad for the autumn-/winter time.

See whats on the plate:

Photo Walk #19 / Westkreuz towards the radio tower

Time: Sunday 21st November 3:00 – 5:00 pm; Location: Berlin,  S-Bahn Westkreuz (meeting point:  place near Straße am Westkreuz): The route of the Metroblinks walk No.19 guides us beside the highway structures on junction, below the ICC and crossing Messedamm towards the “Berliner Funkturm”, the old radio tower. Depending on the weather, it might be already starting to dawn, when we arrive at the radio tower … The illumination of buildings, car traffic and especially the radio tower will conjure us a wonderful background …

Photo Walk #20 / Witzleben (engl. ‘joke of life’ ) towards the ICC

Time: Sunday 28th November 2:00 – 4:00 pm; Location: Berlin S-Bahn station Witzleben or Messe Nord/ ICC: This time we approach the ICC from the other side and may want to spend some more time on old S-Bahn construction and special views on ICC congress center, subway and pedestrian ways.  We gonna see the ICC completely from the ‘other side’ and also passing by underneath and on the sides.

By the way – NON PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! Somtimes it works out better if someone is in front of the lense.
